To better fulfill its mission and vision in a way that serves its community well, Spring Run Presbyterian Church realized that it needed to expand. The church’s mission is to be an authentic, worshiping community on the outskirts of Richmond, VA, that proclaims and embodies the gospel of Jesus Christ. The church’s vision is to grow followers of Jesus who influence others with the gospel for the good of individuals, families, our community, and the world.
In 2024, Spring Run called on CGChurch to gather congregational feedback on a proposed building expansion and renovation project. We conducted a feasibility study before the church launched a capital campaign.

The original master plans for the project were intricately layered, and the CGChurch team provided evaluations and recommendations based on the congregation’s feedback on the direction of the church, the concept of the proposed project, and the financial feasibility. Spring Run’s leadership scaled the plans and moved forward with confidence that the project aligned with the church’s vision and would be enthusiastically supported by its people.
Andrew Conrad (senior pastor) said, “This collaborative effort resulted in a deeper understanding of our congregations’ funding capacity, enabling us to align our project with their capacity and willingness to support it. Following CGChurch’s wise recommendation, we decided to scale our project.
"Dan Nielson of CGChurch continued to work with Spring Run after the feasibility study, offering ongoing campaign counsel. Andrew said, "We have made excellent and consistent progress, and with time still remaining, we are about to surpass our campaign goal.”
