I don’t remember how I carried my money before I had this wallet. Maybe I had a cheap Velcro wallet? Or was it just loose in my pocket? At the time, it didn’t occur to me that this would be the wallet I would use for more than half my life. It also certainly didn’t occur to me what having a cross on my wallet really signified.

In times when I’ve lost sight of why doing the small things—the “faithful activity” of fundraising—is important, one story from my experience has served as an encouraging prod.
